The Momofuku restaurant group just opened their latest restaurant in Washington D.C., and with lines around the block, I think it’s safe to call CCDC a hit.

CCDC’s high ceilings, cement columns, and exposed structure give the restaurant an air of comfortable modernism. The interior design is stunning as well, its clean, linear furniture, juxtaposes the vibrant, colorful murals and artwork.

Among the must order items are definitely the buns! The pork and brisket buns are absolutely delicious...

The braised fried chicken is incredibly tasty as well...

After ordering appetizers and main courses, it’s time for dessert! CCDC actually brings dessert from the Milk Bar.

One of the most unique desserts from the Milk Bar is the cereal milk ice cream with cereal crunch. The ice cream actually tastes exactly like cereal milk, and the cereal crunch is really sweet and crispy.

Another must try is the crack pie. Yes, yes, I know the name is a little worrisome, but I promise it’s delicious! With a crispy oat crust, and a gooey butter filling, it’s super sweet, and addicting.

Lastly are the truffles. If you’re addicted to chocolate get the chocolate malt cake truffles, they’re stuffed with a rich chocolate filing. The b’day truffles are amazing as well, it’s vanilla rainbow cake in a bite :)

If you don’t get the opportunity to eat at the restaurant definitely stop by the Milk Bar.
